Hike some or all of the Tillamook Head Trail for views of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse offshore on the rocks, or hit the mountain biking trails at Klootchy Creek Park. On a blustery spring day, you’ll find the perfect opportunity to browse Broadway’s art galleries and locally owned boutiques from the Historic Gilbert District all the way west to the Pacific. Enjoy the downtown shops or head north, where you can buy a wool blanket or rain boots at the Seaside Outlets. End the day sharing a pizza or seafood meal at a cozy spot downtown. Don’t forget to take a day trip from your Seaside base camp during two Whale Watch Weeks along the Oregon Coast — usually in December and March.
