28 ALASKA RESOURCE REVIEW SPRING 2025 ALASKA ON THE HILL: RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS GATHER FOR BEST INTEREST OF ALASKA RDC staff, board members, together with 15 other Alaska organizations and more than 120 Alaskans traveled to Washington, D.C. on April 29-30 to attend the annual Alaska on the Hill event, celebrating "Alaska’s Resources & Industries — America’s Future.” The event was again an opportunity to share our story of why Alaska matters, and included industry briefings, a Congressional roundtable, visits to individual offices on the Hill, meetings with the Department of Interior, and of course, a world-class Alaskan reception! The RDC is grateful to our Alaska Congressional Delegation and their staff who have again provided exceptional support in helping share the story of Alaska resource development. Thank you also to our fellow associations and staff who put in countless hours to ensure the gathering was a success. It's more important than ever to share a unified front for what we all care for the most — the future of Alaska — and we were able to accomplish that goal with your help. We're already planning for next year!
