There's also the on-site Cookery Skola, which hosts accessible cooking class functions for singles, couples, and groups alike. On June 7, you can learn how to whip up izakaya faves like okonomiyaki pancakes, chicken tsukune skewers, or chilled soba noodles with dashi dipping sauce. Along with big names in the genre playing at the center's two venues, there's a new outdoor festival stage and street market taking place on a closed-off portion of Oak Street between Franklin and Van Ness.
